We are finally proud to announce the birth of Motörhead by Grovsnus!

Today at the Sweden Rock Festival the heavy metal band Motörhead will present a limited edition of the classic snus brand Grovsnus. In partnership with Swedish Match, the band has developed a unique heavy metal design. Motörhead’s Swedish drummer, Mikkey Dee, is a passionate user of snus himself.

“I love snus and have been using Grovsnus as long as I can remember,” he says.

Former lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses, Slash, recently announced that he had replaced cigarettes with snus as part of a healthier lifestyle. Perhaps replacing smoking with snus is a trend among rock stars?

“There are a thousand reasons not to smoke, one of which is that playing drums with both your hands occupied is a bit tricky,” Mikkey Dee explains.

Motörhead by Grovsnus will be released in an edition comprising 150,000 cans and will be available through online retailers.
