PhilipMorris introduced Marlboro Snus in the Dallas/Fort Worth retail test market area in August 2007 and in theIndianapolis test market area in March 2008. Marlboro Snus comes in 4 flavors: Rich, Mild, Mint and Spice. The Marlboro snus brand comes packaged in a SlidePak that holds 12 pouches and utilizes something that PhilipMorris calls “flavor strip technology”. Marlboro snus is one of the lowest nicotine snus’s on the market, containing only 3.5 mg. to 3.9 mg. of nicotine. Marlboro Snus is not pasturized and is not marketed as a reduced harm tobacco product. It is marketed as a discreet, spit-less oral tobacco product.
