New Secret General Snus? UPDATE!!

New Secret General Snus? UPDATE!!

General Snus Limited Edition?

UPDATED !!!  Sept. 11, 2009

On September 10th 2009, the SnusCENTRAL Intelligence Agency @ SnusCENTRAL.org release the below information, speculation and clandestine photographs.  Today we uncovered the earth-shattering “rest of the story”.  Short answer: is Swedish Match releasing a new line of snus?  YES! Are the below pictures the first published of the new line?  NO.

First our original report; then the fascinating and shocking TRUTH!

Breaking News: SnusCIA Agents in Norway have obtained the following pictures of a here-to-fore never seen General Snus Product: General Snus Limited Edition. The can appears to be metal with the General Logo on the bottom; the words “Limited Edition” in red on the top, and some blurred words in white our SnusCIA technicians were not able to unblur despite using Microsoft Paint!

At this time we do not have verification from Swedish Match AB that these photos are genuine and, if so, the details behind this General Snus Limited Edition Snus. What we can say is that it does not appear to be a version of last year’s ONYX Carbone Special Edition whose can was manufactured from carbon fiber.  Officials at SMAB have been contacted for an official response.

Developing……………

General-SE-Norway A secret General Snus Limited Edition or a hoax? Why available in Norway although the text appears to be in English? A clandestine new product or packaging test for the United States? Just what the heck is this?

A new General Snus Special Edition...or a prank?

The second two words on the bottom appear to say ‘WHITE PORTION”.  The first word we have no idea at this point.  The SnusCIA does have an old version of PhotoShop 2.  So far no luck cleaning these up put they’re working on it.

More information as this develops………

UPDATE:  September 11th, 2009……

The General Limited Edition Snus:

A highly placed source at Swedish Match AB has confirmed the pictures are in-fact genuine.  At great personal risk, our secret source revealed “The General Edition can is a special product made for a chain store called Deli de Luca in Norway.  The same can has been used for a chain of restaurants in Sweden called Harrys. The red logo on the can is Deli de Luca´s logo.”

So that answers the question on the mysterious Limited Edition General Snus product pictured above.  Secret thanks to Markus Ersmark, the unnamed source for this information…….Ooops.  Uh, hmm… just kidding!  It really wasn’t Markus!  Ha, Ha, Ha!  Really!  You believe us, right?  Oh.  Sorry Markus.
