All my orders seem to take longer and longer to arrive. I assume they are being held at customs but why so long? At first I would get my order in roughly a week or two. But now for the last few orders I haven't received a single one under a whole month (and one which never arrived at all). It's starting to drive me insane as I end up spending weeks without snus as I cannot reliably figure out when I will get anything. I live in Quebec, Canada. Is there anything going on here that would cause such a thing to be so common?

Welcome and sorry it's under such sad circumstances. I passed your question onto the store and I would encourage any Canadian customers to jump in if they have any insights.

Many countries but primarily Canada and Australia go through periods where suddenly customs holds increase delivery time....and then everything back to normal.

Your package is getting to Quebec as quickly as it ever did; customs is the problem. If I find out any more information, I'll let you know.

Just received a reply from Customer Service about your situation:

Nope - nothing specifically regarding Quebec or even Canada as a whole.
The weeks around Easter, Christmas/New Year and the main summer vacation weeks are prone to delays every year though (this does only affect orders sent to Canada though).
If he has to pay customs duties anyway due to his packages not getting through, he can have them sent by UPS (or if continuing with postal service, ask for his orders not to be split if doesn't already do that).

Roderick at Toque Snuff has mentioned problems shipping into Canada also. He is very curious also and also has no answers.
