Kevin Toole, a long-time e-friend of mine from Savannah Georgia who travels under the name Xobeloot is something of a legend in snusdom.  They have a framed picture of Xobeloot hanging at V2 Tobacco's factory in Denmark.  He is absolutely obsessed with V2's Phantom Blue Loose Snus. I've seen a picture of his refrigerator literally packed with Phantom Blue.  The term "Phanatic" to describe the hard-core Phantom Snus devotees was modeled after Xobeloot.

His picture also hangs in the IceTool offices.  An IceTool is the best device available to make a Pris out of loose snus unless you know how to "hand bake".  I don't, so when I use loose snus, it's with an IceTool.

I know a while back Xobeloot did switch to e-cigarettes for a time, came back to snus, but since then, he's been maintaining a low profile.  One night, he IM'ed me and asked me to read a short article called "Dear Snus" he had written.

Kevin has always been a fantastic writer and on more than one occasion, I have offered him his own column on SnusCENTRAL.org.  Being heavily involved in many things from WarCraft to Women to Paintball to Unicorns to Beer, he always begged off citing time constraints.

I published 'Dear Snus by Xobeloot' originally under my own section.  A month or so later, Kevin emailed me another much longer article for my thoughts.  I was blown away.  I couldn't just publish this under 'Larry Waters Reports' or file it in the Snus Reviews Section.

Xobeloot is a tortured soul in many ways and and his writings are much more than snus reviews.   His knowledge of Swedish Snus, Scandinavian Snus, Icetools, Loose or Lös snus is encyclopedic.  But more importantly, his writings give us a look into the depth of his soul.  His is a viewpoint so impelling that you will be sucked into his work.

Strap your helmet on and prepare for the snus adventure of a lifetime!
