Your tobacco tax dollars are at work! The FDA Minister of Propoganda has developed this widget to keep you informed of why they are right and Swedish snus experts are wrong. Isn't it great how we Amerikans are paying for anti-all-tobacco extremist and special interest advertising?

More "good" news from our friends at FDA.  Cigarette or smokeless tobacco sales to minors have been and already are illegal.  I guess the message isn't getting through to "the children".  Is it the American educational system, poor parenting, or can the kids just not hear the message because they are listening to music on their iPods?

Whatever the cause, Big Government to the rescue!  All I see is a lot of money being squandered, new Government Jobs, and another series of kicks at the Free Market.  Here is what FDA did for the children and to American tax-payers; tobacco using and non-using alike.

Internet Tobacco Purchase Ban Moves Forward...with help from your local convenience store!

The PACT Act, legislation to ban the sale of ALL tobacco products over the Internet, has been quietly moving forward.  Back on September 21, 2008, SnusCENTRAL.org published an incredibly incisive and brilliantly written detailed article entitled  Cigarettes, Snus; ALL Tobacco (except Cigars): Internet Purchases to be BANNED in the USA???? The bill didn't make it through the the 110th Congress before the Session ended.  It was quickly re-introduced during the current 111th Congressional Session to some but little fanfare.

President Obama today signed the Kennedy/Waxman so-called Family Smoking Prevention and tobacco Control Act into law.  The new tobacco law neither helps family smoking prevention or controls tobacco.  This law is an embarrassment of favors to Philip Morris USA, other tobacco special interests groups, and an attempt to pander to the anti-tobacco zealots.  It's very flawed; it didn't have to be; and we will pay the price.
