Hi everyone,

I've been a regular snuff user for just over a year now, with the vague intention of using it to wean myself off smoking. What happened was I did cut down, but not give up entirely, because I still kinda liked smoking.
I'm a member of Snuffhouse.org forum and there's a thread there about snus, chew and dip which I started reading, and that got me curious.

I started by trying Oliver Twist tobacco bits for about three months, which I liked, then started thinking about using snus. I made my first order about a month ago (5 cans of mini, regular and stark portions, various brands), and found that snus pretty much stopped any cravings to smoke, especially if I took a pinch of snuff if I felt I needed to. Even when I absentmindedly found myself making a RYO, after about three puffs I now find that I don't like it and throw it away - wow, what a revelation!

I've made my second order a couple of days ago and I'm waiting impatiently for it to arrive - I guess I'm now a convert! At the moment it's portions only - I'm not sure about using lös just yet, but I'll probably try it at some point in the future.
Snus is fantastic!

Welcome to the forum, toffeenose. Glad to have you aboard. Jump right in anywhere.

Now boys, be nice to the young lady. She knows more about snuff than I do, is better looking than me, and not in America.

Most all of us have gotten off cigs by using snus. Like you it took the addition of snuff to get the job finished for me. Powerful combination there.

Hello everyone, I kinda jumped over this section on accident, I tend to jump right in instead of testing the waters first. My apologies . Anywho, well lets see here, I've smoked cigs, cigars, dipped for what seems an eternity, used nasal snuf, oliver twist, chaw, chew, King B twist (YACK), and now finally SNUS! I started dipping on the back of the good 'ole AG bus just like everyone else right... okay maybe not everyone but had a friend whos Mom would regularly buy us Cowboy killer (Marlboro Reds) and Skoal or T-wolf or Cope. God how I thought that woman was just the coolest... And now, I'm wondering how she could have done such a thing . But of course a man reaps what he sows and no one forced me to light up or take a pinch. I've quit before sometimes for months on end only to go back to it during particularily rough times, as a man of 24 years old with a wife of 6yrs and 4 children life can get pretty crazy at times. Well, I havn't smoked for a long time except for the beer fueled frenzies and pretty much stuck to dip for the past several years until I started doing Camel Snus and always had a fascination with "real" stuff and finaly got me some a few weeks back from here and never looking back. I greatly appreciate everyones kindess in here and look forward to meeting more and more snusers.
Have fun, Take care and HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND
Joseph

Welcome John. I've read your posts elsewhere, and you'll be a great addition here. No worries about not liking V2, we all like different things. I use more SM than V2 but it's close.
I accept not liking something but spitting hatred is not acceptable. Heck even the Boss doesn't like Phantom. Can't hold lack of sophisticated taste buds against anyone.

I'm a forum Ninja. I'm everywhere, just not noticed.

I graze through all the forums, trying to keep up with breaking news, but this one is home for me. Out of respect for Larry we don't mention the other places much.

Navigation here is pretty good once you get used to it. I use the "show latest posts" button often.

Thanks! I've been around for a few months, but I don't post much. I do more reading than anything. There's always something here worth while.
