The old Intro thread was getting a bit long and unwieldy. So I thought a new one was in order.
I'm moving Feck's post here because I think it's the perfect way to start this thread.

I just wanted to say welcome to all our new members. This place is a great site to belong to. No moderators are going to go on a childish tirade if you share your personal beliefs or thoughts, nor will you get banned for talking about other stores or blogs. We're all one big happy (dysfunctional) family here.

I was asked about the SC store a little while ago, and I'm not trying to speak for Larry or anything. But for the new folks who are unaware, Snuscentral (the store) grew out as an extension of Snuscentral (the forum), NOT vice versa. Larry wanted to create a place where members of his forum could get a good deal on Swedish snus, and he tries his best to carry the lowest prices on the market. If you guys haven't ordered yet, I strongly recommend taking advantage of the awesome price breaks while we still can (thank you PACT).

So, while you're not going to see banner advertisements for other stores on the site, Larry is not going to come down and give you a five-day ban because you mention Clubsnus or something. This is (within limits) a very open forum, and as of now is probably the most open snus forum on the web. Some people are under the impression that talk is limited to only items purchased from the SC store, and that's untrue.

I know there is controversy surrounding another forum, and I'm not going to comment on it as I left that site years ago. Nor do I think Larry wants to get caught in the middle since many people are jumping ship and coming over here. I just wanted to extend the candle of friendship to each and all new members, and to let you guys know you are welcome here, and it's awesome to have you. Please get out and start posting, introduce yourselves.

There's a ladies-only section for our female members, and there's going to be a lot more features coming down the pipeline from what I gather. I just ask that whatever beefs or drama that went on at other sites STAY at those other sites. We all came here with clean slates, and no one cares about who you were or what you do at other forums. Your conduct at Snuscentral is the only thing that matters.

I'm not a moderator or an administrator here or anything. I write some articles from time to time, and I invite you all to take a look at them if you get a chance to. Other than that, I'm just a member like you guys. Before I came here, I was told a lot of strange things about Larry and his forum that made me leery of joining Snuscentral. They turned out to all be lies or gross exaggerations, and I'm really ashamed that I came here with preconceived notions about what this forum was all about.

There are no cliques here, and any verbal harassment you see is between people that know each other well and are giving each other a good sarcastic ribbing. There are no bullies here, and that type of thing is not tolerated one bit. I was used to the standoffish, self-absorbed post-whores that are typical of other forums. There's not one person here that fits that mold.

I'm rambling here (which is something that is quite welcome on this site- just ask me, Larry, Rick or Mick ) so I just want to sum it up by saying WELCOME- to the best snus forum on the web. Each and every one of you are invited to take part in this community, and to help make it better. We're big enough of a site to have lively and disparate discussions, but still small enough to keep sight of Larry's vision of a warm, friendly place to talk about snus.

Anyway, great post and I am glad it got moved so all can see. I fully have found a new home here and find it refreshing to know that I won't be bullied or fell like I am spamming if I mention Clubsnus(I love you Jon, well your snus really )

I love talking snus, it is the most fun thing I have found to do. I try talking with friends or family and they just look at me like I am nuts. So it is nice to be able to come here and share my crazy hobby with other people who share in my craziness.

Thanks for having me here. Oh and Larry, be on the look out for my very first order via SnusCentral(got to give everyone a try at least once ya know).

Christi, I think the men would love it if you stuck around played with us.

From what I understand, the "ladies room" is there for you to talk amongst yourselves without us dirty men being able to eavesdrop on your conversations. I didn't even know it existed until one of the gals here mentioned it.

I still don't see it, maybe I'm not looking in the right place, or maybe it's only visible to women members? If so that's some advanced forum software.

I think it's only visible to girly chick members.

Well I will do some looking, but I haven't found it yet.

If Obama knew that you used your savings from the CfC program on a (gasp) TOBACCO website, I'm sure you'd have to pay it all back with interest.
