I'm on my second order of snus. I'm a female ex-smoker with a few questions. when you pull the pouch out is it better to pop it in as is or should you loosen/break up the packed/hard feeling first? Also, the can tops have a round disk on them that you can pop off. Is this a little storage space? What is it for? thanks for the help. off topic. if I fall asleep with a snus in I have vivid disaster dreams. tornados, earthquakes, hurricanes. weird.

Some fluff, I don't, I like it tightly packed, I like flavor to come out slowly and last longer. Disk on top is convenient place to put used packet if there's not a good place to discard of it when you're done. I've not had the dream effect, but cannot recall if I've fallen asleep with a portion in.

Like Dave said, some fluff portions and some don't. I always fluff my portions to break them up and make them even. To do this, just roll them between your fingers a few times and them hold them on the edge and give them a couple of gentle flicks.

The round top you speak of is called the catch lid. It is used to discard your used portions if you are not around a trash recepticle, like Dave said.

And yes, for some nicotine can make you have vivd dreams.

Hi mctassi and welcome! Yes, nicotine dreams can be very intense. They are not all disaster movies; some are a lot of fun. They usually only occur if you sleep with a portion in your mouth.

As far as I'm concerned, nicotine dreams are just another great advantage to using Swedish snus over cigarettes.

Another use for the catch lid is to store another flavor of snus. You can get 2-3 in there and not worry about the flavors mingling.
