Well, made my first order of snus today from SnusCentral. I'm quite excited to try all my new snus's. WOW, shipping was a bear. (UPS is like 8 cans worth!) I assume, before the PACT I would have had the choice of USPS, right? Where is SnusCentral? Damn, I travel alot, if its on my way, can I pick it up myself?

SnusCENTRAL ships snus fresh out out of Lidkoping, Sweden. Before PACT, you would have had a choice for Swedish Post.

I assume it was much cheaper right? Well... I don't travel that far, lol. I thought maybe they had a US warehouse they ship out of. I would have ordered from Northener.com, they have a PA warehouse, but not as big of a selection.

Yeah Swedish Post was much cheaper. My last SC order was 32 cans, $12 shipping.

Northerner's US warehouse falls under the TCA rules, and a lot of snus manufacturers are not willing to register their products with the FDA. Which they believe they must to sell it from the US. I disagree with that assessment, but I'm not making the decisions.

SnusCentral.com made a strategic decision not to open a US warehouse or have a physical presence in the US back when PACT and Kennedy/Waxman were just becoming noticed.

.com's selection has not changed nor does it have to because of this. The exceptions are when the manufacturers temporarily halt a product on their own or RJR pulls some dirty tricks.

Too early in the game to be throwing in the towel.
