As sad as this statement is, it's the absolute truth. The only bad thing about getting rid of a crappy politician is that there exists ten more to take his place, and they're even worse than he was.

We do. We need a guy , preferably president, that isn't afraid to speak truth. A guy who isn't scared of being called names or of the libs/unions/newspapers. Reagan wasn't. He said exactly what he meant, and let everyone choose. Reagan was not perfect, merely great.

Looking back on his politics, it's amazing how much I disagree with him on a lot of issues. However, he was truly the last great president we had. "Crazy Ronnie" loved his country, and I believe that he truly ate, breathed and slept patriotism and idealism.

Compare these two quotes:

We need a man in the White House, not a sissy sociopath. A man commands respect, as Reagan clearly did. He wasn't the laughingstock that was Clinton, Obama and the Bushes. Reagan was John Wayne, for better or worse.

i say everyone in this forum run for president. well, everyone of the legal age to do so. it cant hurt. lol. id vote for a snuser in office. everytime ur on camera have a fat pris in your lip.

For all of his faults, and there were MANY, George W Bush was an effective leader in that he could get what he wanted. My theory is that George W Bush and Ronald Reagan were so effective diplomatically because they both were very determined in their principles and everyone thought they were a little crazy. That seems to be the winning formula.

Obama is the opposite of this and is perceived as weak and wishy-washy. A dangerously naive way to lead in a dangerous world.

Don't get me wrong, I actually like GW. He did the best he could with what he was given to work with.

He didn't command the respect that Reagan did. The other countries laughed at us and our leader. I think GW was a very smart man, but when that camera hit him he was like a deer in the headlights- like his brain just switched off.

It's true that Bush didn't play well to the camera. But, for good or ill, he still managed to do almost everything he wanted to do the way he wanted to do it.

Obama enjoys the largest Congressional majority for his party seen in a generation and he still comes off like a floundering fool. Don't get me wrong, his ideas are horrible so I'm quite happy that he's so ineffective.
