Oh I didn't even know this thread existed. lol. Anyhoo Larry dropped me a note if I was updating my blog and I do plan on adding some new additions soon. Things have been hectic as of late but here it is:

Ty vc. I just came home from work and i wanted 2 leave a blog 4 my profile. I wanted other folks 2 know that snus does work 4 hard core smokers such as myself. I can't believe that i really don't desire a smoke. Thanks 2 snus and thanks 2 the great snussers on the forum

Dog - good blog - thanks for sharing. I might also add - keep on reviewing, you have just as much knowledge about your taste experience with snus - remember, no two folks are the same - and having different perspectives of a snus may help someone decide whether to buy it or not.

And, for the record, I don't taste the chocolate in Ettan nor do I taste any vanilla in Grov Svart(more licorice than anything) - does that mean we are wrong - nope, just means we don't taste it. Maybe in a year or two, we may. Who knows.

You taste licorice?! Haha, no, I understand what you are saying, brant. We all taste things differently, and there is no right or wrong when it comes to what this or that tastes like to each person. But I think we can all agree that Jagar Pris tastes like flowers.

Too, I think I will always feel compelled to right reviews. Its just that I don't honestly think I have ever written a review without using the word "peppery", and after a while, well, when everyone else tastes elderberries, and you taste pepper, you start to wonder, "what in the world is wrong with me!"

But I am glad I wrote that blog, because it is good to know that I am not the only person who doesn't detect vanilla in Grovsnus Svart!

I am sure I will inevitably write more snus reviews, because I really enjoy writing them even if I am not so confident in my palate. Expect to find the word "peppery" in those reviews. Or, if I am feeling especially confident, I might consider throwing in "earthy".

This leads me to believe someone DOES have confidence in their palate!

It's not confidence in yourplate that matters. It is more if you can communicate that to others and their palate agrees. That's why I do very few reviews. I stink on ice at accurately describing flavors. I can pick them up, but have a hard time knowing what they are. I know if I like something or not and fortunately have enough people who agree with my likes to make them read my ramblings.

I thought it was a funny slip of the keystroke! I agree with your likes, and enjoy the ramblings. When is the next one coming??
