I got a can of Blue Ocean in a Bag O' Snus roll. I definitely would not have ordered it other than that. I'm really glad I got it though because I never would have tried this unique snus. It does have a mint element and I normally don't like mint snuses, but Blue Ocean is more cool to the touch than cool tasting. Other than that, if you haven't tried it, I can't paint a picture of what it tastes like with text. It is a quality product and if there is a snus that tastes similar, I have not tried it. If you're looking for a new snus to try, definitely keep Blue Ocean in mind.

Added a few cans of Blue Ocean to my last order. This stuff is pretty good, I'm more of a natural guy but when i heard that it reminded you of the ocean i had to have it..I use to live in San Diego California so i had to try it. Now i was thinking that it was going to be minty and i don't mind that sometimes, but this is better than i thought. It leaves a cool, refreshing, clean feeling in your mouth not to too minty. It almost is like a light breath mint, with a buzz. It gave me a good buzz. The taste/sensation lasted for about a hour. After i removed it my mouth still felt fresh. So overall i think this is a good buy if you want to change it up at times.

Received Blue Ocean in my last order. I like the flavor, it does remind one of the ocean, I suppose. There is a hint of mint in it, just a taste, and it has a nice buzz at the beginning that is hard to define. The nicotine content isn't bad at first, but it seems to fade out rather quickly. This is definitely a milder snus. I like it, I just wish it lasted longer than half an hour. I've definitely become used to the stronger snus.

When you open a can of Blue Ocean, which you must do so by pealing off the label, you are struck at how unique it is. The aroma is very nice, a mild sweet mint.

The flavor at first is at once mildly sweet and mildly minty, and sits very comfortably behind the lip, but that is not what makes this snus unique. I have tried a few other brands which I will classify as mint - Thunder Frosted, Jak's Mint, General Mint, and as distinct as these products are, they all have one thing in common: They all mask the tobacco with the mint, whether it is the intensity of Thunder, the strong sweetness of General, or that bold, almost metallic mint from Jaks. But with Blue Ocean, the mint does not mask the peppery tobacco - it blends with it and accentuates it.

That might be a problem for someone who likes mint snus to mask the tobacco flavor, but for those who enjoy the flavor of a premium blend of fine tobaccos with mint as an element more than a dominant flavor, Blue Ocean will be a very pleasant surprise.
