Date added: 30.11.-0001 This woefully underrated snus opens with a pleasing salt/pepper flavor and then drops into a noticeable citrus/tobacco flavor that stands up rather well to whatever drinks you throw at it.
Many times I've been disappointed with other snus when my Rockstar Mocha, Malt Muscle Milk, or McDoogell's chocolate milk shake completely shuts down their ability to produce flavor. Not so with the 1847. Most of the time it hangs in there to the bitter end. The end, I concede, can be a bit bitter, but this snus has got to be near the top of the list for delivering satisfaction under adverse conditions. The 1847 white is awful, the regular 1847 is a bit better. I get a can in trade now and then and I'll use it, but definitely wouldn't pay good cash for it.
Seeing how much I love the 1847 White Portion, I thought I would be similarly impressed with the 1847 portion. This was not the case.
The taste was milder than the 1847 White and pretty unremarkable all the way around. I may give it one more shot when Swedish Match takes over production but that's about it. |
