I really enjoy the Lab series! The taste is classic General influence, and the quality is top notch. I find the portions to be very comfortable and stealthy for office work.

02 has a very similar taste to 01, but packs quite the punch. It's a testament to the SM free-nic recipe. As stated, both are easy to identify as SM and General influence tastes, less the citrus. The tobacco taste is top notch, and works well with the under-tone flavors. There is no pushing and shoving, just well balanced taste.

One caution: I find the drip to be equivalent to that of any typical SM regular portion. That being said, I personally like a little drip, and will pre-wet portions while placing them by fluffing up the material and popping it in my mouth. If you were to pull out the lip and place the portion with your fingers, you may not experience the drip.

I can easily recommend this snus for a try if you like strong portions, and the typical SM/General flavor profile.

Lab Series 02 --- WONDERFUL SNUS!

I bought three cans of this anticipating something actually good coming out of focus groups but I was left with the knowledge that all committees produce poor results.

This stuff is not good at all. Regrettably I will probably force myself to finish the last can since I'm running low on the good stuff(Claq Qui, Nick and Johnny strong). I don't recommend this snus to anybody with any taste buds.

My take on the 0102 series is that they're great if you're concerned about conceivability. If you have a job or something that has a zero tolerance on tobacco use, no one will ever know you have anything in your mouth. One of my cousins is a nurse, and she exclusively uses the 02 Lab Series at work, because her hospital would fire her if they knew she was snusing at work. (What a horrible world we live in now.)

Second, the "no drip" thing isn't really innovative to me, because Swedish Match nicked the idea from the Gotlandssnus portions IMO. They just aren't soaking wet like a typical original portion, but they're not bone dry like a white portion.

Nicotine delivery seems no different from any other portion.

Taste wise, the Lab Series is squarely in the Ettan/Grov/Tre Ankare family of "pure" tobacco taste. I wish it had more flavor, but that's just me.

All in all, it's worth a try. I haven't used the Thunder longs yet, but the Lab Series is an occasional order for me.

Really good stuff, I LOVE the shape of the portion, it's the shape all portions should be shaped. Great flavor, last a long time and pretty good nic content. This is on my list of everyday snus.

This may very well become my first 80% portion. As in I can see 80% of my portion use to be 01/02. Yes, they are that good.

I tried the 02 today. Not bad.... reminds me of Claq Qui (I think). Really like the longer/thinner portion. I was concerned about the 'no drip' thing, but as you said, the 'ooze' is sufficient.

01/02 are really very well made, well thought out snus. It's a definite "Hell Yes!" recommendation from me as well.

This is a great snus! The flavors blend perfectly and the drip is non existent and it lasts a very long time. Love the longer pouches and the herbs, tobacco abd touch of oak or cedar is brilliant! The salt seems a little lower to me than the general and the nic hit is right up there with the stronger series!A must try at least once for all snus users IMO!

Okay Larry. I got my order of 0102 today in the mail. This is it. It's so near perfect. This is the snus I could spend the rest of my life using if I only had one choice.

They could not have made a better decision than using the long pouch which is the only thing I admired about the Camel SNUS. The great nutty flavor Swedish Match have added is fantastic! I love it!

I can finally use a standard portion when my boss is in the office without having to worry about her spotting it. I finally don't have to spend so much on mini portions (I double up on them to get enough nicotine when boss is here.) and I finally have a can that has a great deal of artistic appeal to it. I am not afraid to sit these cans on the table at a restaurant or a bar and have others look at it.

I love the material they used for the pouch. I love the no drip (Don't know how it works but it does, and great) The only gripe I have and it is a very very small one is that there is not a wintergreen/mint/clove/cinnamon flavor. Don't get me wrong I love the flavor of this, but I switch back and fourth between bergamot and mint flavored snus quite a few times a day. It does have a very subtle mint feel on my lip but no flavor that I can detect.

:-*That aside I really hope/wish SM would release some of their other lines with this pouch. I would love to be able to snus General or Goteborg during the time I have the boss's eyes on me. I am going to go through the cans before I make an absolute statement but I feel this is quickly climbing to that top spot of my list.

Awesome! Simply awesome! I like everything about this snus. The new shape of the snus is more comfortable. The flavor builds slowly and is neither weak nor overpowering and lasts for a good 90 minutes. The vitamin-N hit is nice without being a blast.
