Sweeteners in General Mint and Wintergreen 1 Year, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
I don't have my Mint can so I can't read off the ingredients, but I was under the impression that the Mint used artificial sweetener while the Wintergreen didn't. (My memory of the ingredients as well as the taste difference makes me think this). Yet I read somewhere that neither use artificial sweetener. I think the Mint screams of some strong nasty sweetener, while the Wintergreen is sweet but not in an off-putting way. I am just curious if there is a difference in sweeteners for these two, and also if Mint, and or Wintergreen don't use an artificial sweetener, they must use some sweetener beyond sugar, I am curious what that may be, surely not the mint itself? I just looked up the ingredients on the General Wintergreen, and see NO sweeteners listed whatsoever, yet it still has a sweet taste. Is it the wintergreen itself, or what...
